Ramblings from the Word ...

... and they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. (Acts 17:11)

Like Amos, I am no prophet, nor am I the son of a prophet. I freely confess that I have neither the credentials nor the experience to be considered a Bible scholar. But I have acquired a love of the Truth. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6), and He promised that if we abide in His word we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free. (John 8:31-32)

The writings below are the product of my continuing study of the Bible. The reader is cautioned to search the scriptures just as the first-century Berean Christians did to see if these things are so.
