Ken Ainsworth

Ken Ainsworth, folk-rock musician, singer and songwriter,
has been performing professionally for over 30 years. In addition to his solo
act, he has appeared with with the rock band Mystic
Procession, the contemporary folk group Night Whale and the The Rondos, playing classic Rock ‘n’ Roll.
On Sunday mornings, he can be found leading music at the Machias Community
Church in Machias, Washington. |

Over the years,
Ainsworth has written over 200 songs, a number of which appear on recordings
by Night Whale. His most recent efforts, the CD Machias Morning,
released in 2000 and the CD There’s Only One, released in
March, 2005, consist of songs written about his Christian faith. |
|
Ainsworth's style is best described as a blend of folk-revivalist
lyricism laced with a harder edge tooled from his rock 'n' roll experience.
He is an energetic and personable performer, but is most satisfied with
writing and recording new songs, which he does in his Everett, Washington
studio. |
